My Mum made a cushion for our bedroom.
It's from some fabric which I've had for ages. I won it in a blog giveaway from
Melbomba's etsy shop. I'm not a seamstress so it was quite idiotic of me to enter it in the first place. Call me a giveaway junkie.

This is where the indecisiveness from the title comes in... |
I couldn't decide what backing I should use for this fabric for cushions. So I decided that they shall back each other. I effectively have two cushions in one now. If I tire of green bellbirds one week, I can switch it to blue lilies with absolutely no effort.
Fabric designed by Mel Bombardiere can be found
HERE. She has other colours and designs in her store, so be sure to check it out if you like her Scandinavian inspired designs.
I love! I want! Good thinking with the backing ;)
ReplyDeleteJust loving that fabric. The colours are gorgeous. Love the two cushions in one idea. xx
ReplyDeleteGorgeous print and colour. I love the uniqueness of this - very clever.

Perfect, love it. Love the print. Glad you had it made that way. Well done Anita's Mum.
ReplyDeleteVery nice! More of the fabric would make a fine duvet cover.

ReplyDeleteI love it! Both sides are gorgeous although the green birds do grab me a little more. What beautiful fabric. Enjoy! Ange
ReplyDeleteLove the fabric and the two sided cushion! Mimi xx
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous fabric and what a great idea to use them both at once.
ReplyDeleteLOVE this!
ReplyDeleteHave been debating myself whether to back two different fabrics from my Carla Miller Zig Zag fabrics together when I FINALLY get round to making more cushions.
Indecisive cushions are absolutely the best! Especially when both fabrics are so lovely. Good decisions made all round. xx
ReplyDeleteNifty!
ReplyDeleteIt's fantastic, fabric & design, easily stand alone anywhere, sideways too, love Posie
ReplyDeleteI love both of those fabrics, and so clever to use both of them that way. F
ReplyDeleteWhat a clever idea, and thanks for the link, she has some beautiful fabrics. Call me boring but I just love that bellbird design in the warm grey.
ReplyDeleteHow fantastic to win this! What a great cushion, I especially like the bird design side of it but also like navy and white as a combination too.
ReplyDeleteGreat thinking 99... Mels prints are gorgeous. I've been following her for a while now. Now I know who my competition was for the fabric giveaway!!!...T
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous (and clever).
ReplyDeleteI love the cushion and was hoping at reading the title of the post 'indecisive cushion' and then scanning down and seeing the word 'giveaway' that you were going to have some sort of competition and give your most honest reader (i.e. me) your beautiful cushion.
