Coral pendant light installed

I guess the old adage 'pictures speak a thousand words' applies to this post.

Carlo the electrician installed our David Trubridge Coral Pendant in the lounge room yesterday. Yay!

It looks great and today we are sore from craning our necks to admire the new light.

Unfortunately the Star Wars buffs in the family have dubbed our funky light the Death Star.  I tell you, I'm surrounded by philistines!

  1. Your Death Star, I mean your light looks great. I can just picture my son playing lego under it all the time and me telling him to stop climbing the furniture, get all that lego off the light and leave it alone ! ; )

  9. Being on intimate terms with the Death Star, can honestly say that your light is much more stylish. Much like your house - love it. Very jealous of actual architectural features and olde-worlde charm.

  10. It looks fabulous! Tell the Philistines to go and play with Darth Vader in another room. I love David Trubridges work. He truly is so clever. And I love this with your fabulous moulded ceiling. xx

  11. So cool, I love it. And it looks nothing, nothing I tell you, like the Death Star.

  12. I am afraid that I am not familiar with death stars but I do know that your light is gorgeous!

My two patients are already sick of their casts and it is only the end of week one! And yes, hubby is very sad that he can't wear his new shirts! He has been wearing polo shirts to work and hates it! Anyway, I am sure that all the Easter Chocolates they will be receiving this weekend will distract them for a while!

Hope that you and your family have a relaxing long weekend and best wishes for a very happy Easter,
    Natasha.
